I grew up in Vermont and lived my formative years  through high school and college there.  I can’t claim native status,  since I was not born there.   After college, I spent the next dozen years raising two small children while my husband and I operated a dairy farm. I then spent about 20 years in rural Colorado where I learned about 4-H, hiked 14’ers and educated the youth.  My writing includes pieces from these pieces of my life: education, farming and hiking.
